Sr Test Engineer

Talascend is currently seeking a Test Equipment Support Engineer for a contract opportunity located in Phoenix, AZ.

This role is critical to supporting, troubleshooting, and upgrading factory Test Equipment, working directly with ISC leadership and engineering counterparts.

This position focuses on improving production by identifying and resolving Test Equipment issues, partnering closely with ISC to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities :

• Support, troubleshoot, and upgrade Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems used for production acceptance testing of avionics hardware.
• Analyze and pareto test failures, identify root causes, recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Interface daily with Engineering and ISC leadership teams to drive improvements and address production challenges.
• Maintain detailed RAIL (action plan) and track activities methodically and thoroughly.
• Summarize findings and recommendations with clear, organized communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate on design updates, system integration, and test solution optimizations.
• Drive projects related to test equipment reliability and performance enhancements.
