As a Security Officer - Logistics in Wilmington, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for a busy logistics and distribution location. Your role involves monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and being visible throughout your assigned area. You will provide outstanding customer service and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate : $18.69 / Hour

Day Time Mon 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Tue 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Wed 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Thur 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Fri 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or information related to access control.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and / or site supervisors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all security-related activities and access control events as required by site policies.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
