Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location : Charleston, SC Agency : Cynet Health Pay : $1,827 per week Shift Information : Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Start Date : 1 / 5 / 2026 About the Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Experience : Minimum 2 years NICU experience, Level IV NICU experience preferred, Level III NICU experience considered on a case-by-case basis License : South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License Certifications : BLS, NRP Must-Have : Four weekend shifts required per four-week period Will be required to float within scope to meet facility needs Patient ratios 1 : 2, 1 : 3, or 1 : 4, depending on acuity Open to accommodating block schedule, subject to manager discretion Travelers will be canceled or called off one shift per two-week period Description : The Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients. Care is delivered utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. The role involves delivering safe and effective care and collaborating with other healthcare team members. The unit cares for premature and sick neonates, providing medical and surgical care. Common diagnoses include prematurity, respiratory distress, and various neonatal surgical conditions. Support is provided for respiratory and nutritional needs, as well as for ECMO / CRRT and surgical interventions. Pediatric palliative care services are available as needed. The unit supports an infant home monitoring program for infants requiring surveillance upon discharge. All beds in the NICU are monitored.
