Job Type : Full-time (M-Th 8 : 30 am-5 : 30 pm; F : 8 : 30 am-4 : 00 pm); Closed for a 1-hour lunch.

We are actively in search of a devoted provider to join our team, offering full-time opportunities.

Private practice specializing in orthopedic and spine, offering pain relief to injury victims, is currently seeking a Board Certified Physician Assistant with experience in Orthopedics, Interventional Spine, or ER. We treat primarily injured patients after auto accidents, slip and falls, work-related injuries, as well as patients with generalized back pain, neck pain, and joint pain.

Physician Assistant Job Responsibilities :

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic and spine conditions under the supervision of an attending physician.

Physician Assistant Job Duties :

Contributes to the physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; recommending options and courses of action; implementing treatment directives.

Assesses patient condition by reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations, interpreting imaging reports, and formulating a plan of care.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with proper procedures, rules, and regulations.

Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending appropriate yearly CMEs.

Contributes to team management of patient care.

A background in any of the following specialties : orthopedics, neurology, ER, and / or interventional spine / pain management is encouraged.

Clinics are open Monday through Friday with NO on-call, weekend hours, or hospital rounds required. Please note, we are a procedural-based practice; we do NOT treat chronic pain-management patients.

An ideal candidate will have the following qualities :

Ability to multitask and an understanding of musculoskeletal injuries.

License / Certification :

GA Physician Assistant License (required)

PA-C (Required)

GA DEA Registration (preferred)

BLS Certification (Required)
