LCSW or LMFT (as needed)

Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists are encouraged to consider an available part-time / as needed Clinician position with Liberty Healthcares forensic mental health program located onsite at the Robert Presley Detention Center a Riverside County jail located in Riverside CA.

This program exclusively serves adults who are justice-involved experiencing mental illness and have been determined to be incompetent to stand trial.

The goal of this cutting-edge program is to facilitate early access to mental health services provide rapid stabilization and restore people to competency efficiently and effectively.

As a Clinician your role will involve :

• Providing services to program clients one-to-one in-person and onsite at the jail facility
• Conducting psychosocial and risk assessments
• Providing brief treatment primarily focused on symptom management psychoeducation and crisis intervention
• Supporting clients with competency restoration training and education
• Documenting services and client status in Libertys electronic health record system
• Participating in treatment team and other meetings
• Collaborating with clinical ancillary and security staff

This is an as needed position offering occasional work in times of peak program utilization and when coverage is needed for staff who are on vacation or other leave.

You can be expected to be paid $50.00 per hour.
