As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Control in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support visitor and contractor check-in, and maintain clear logs. You will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while providing professional customer service and strong communication. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.

Control access at entrances and gates by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor and vendor logs, and directing authorized persons to the appropriate areas.

Monitor access points, alarms, and camera systems as assigned, reporting irregular activity and helping to deter unauthorized entry and / or prohibited items.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and / or Allied Universal supervision as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, noting hazards, unsecured doors, and policy concerns for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
