Pet Therapy Volunteers!

AccentCare is looking for pet therapy volunteers!

If your dog is certified we'd love to have you both visit our hospice patients. The presence of a dog can add to the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of the patient.

We do have an extensive onboarding procedure:

For the human volunteer - we'll have you watch online educational modules, complete a background check/fingerprints, and complete a physical, TB, and drug screening.

For the dog - they have to have all the required vaccinations (including rabies and DHPP), clear fecal results, annual exam, and proof of liability insurance.
