Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Collaborate in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Partner with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including setting up operating rooms, positioning patients, and managing instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility is a must
