Role Description

This is a 1099 Contractor position, On-site Foreign Language Interpreters are needed in or within 30 miles of Boston, Worcester, Springfield MA, Hartford, Bridgeport, New Haven CT, NY all boroughs, Albany, Rochester, Buffalo, Saratoga Springs NY, Providence, Newport RI and Manchester, Concord NH. We schedule interpreters that are within 30 miles of our clients locations. The interpreter is responsible for providing accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation services in various settings, including medical, legal, and educational environments. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting spoken communication during appointments, meetings, and conferences, as well as assisting clients with understanding and conveying information accurately. The interpreter will also be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in two or more languages, with strong interpreting and translating skills
• Experience in medical, legal, or educational interpretation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Certification in interpretation or translation is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
• Ability to work on-site in any of the major cities listed above.
