Description :
The Director of Transplant Services contributes to achieving organizational goals related to the assigned program priority.
They assist in identifying the required framework and building the infrastructure to support an effective and efficient program service line.
This role involves developing and coordinating health professional training, patient education programs, and community outreach activities to optimize program effectiveness.
The Director will manage assigned staff effectively.
Responsibilities include :
Collaborating with the Program Medical Director to ensure effective and efficient operations in the assigned program.
Evaluating clinical and financial program outcomes, including programs grants.
Engaging stakeholders to implement clinical best practice guidelines with standardized documentation.
Enhancing relationships with outside partners to align quality of care and financial incentives.
Developing and implementing strategies for an exceptional person-centered experience and seamless care delivery system.
Standardizing processes for reliability and sustainability for staff and patients.
Improving access to care and reducing unnecessary clinical variations.
Participating in accreditation processes and ensuring quality practice initiatives and certifications.
Representing the organization in local and national initiatives and conferences.
The Director must demonstrate knowledge in resource management, including fiscal management and grant oversight.
Exceptional writing skills are necessary to compose grant proposals, course outlines, manuals, and reports.
The ability to engage the community through collaborative partnerships is crucial.
Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of the operational deliverables and communicate ongoing operations and strategic initiatives effectively.
