Civil Engineering Project Manager, Local Infrastructure / Public Works - Lubbock, TX

Halff has an opening for a Civil Engineer, with their Texas PE License, to be a Project Manager on our growing Local Infrastructure / Public Works team based out of our Lubbock, TX office. The ideal candidate would bring at least 5 years of experience in Local Infrastructure / Public Works or Land Development with a solid background in stormwater analysis. This position requires strong design and project management experience and knowledge of working with public entities. This role will have a large amount of autonomy in managing engineers-in-training and CAD designers. What you will do :

• Responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, design and construction of local infrastructure projects including municipal roadways, trails, storm drains, drainage studies, master drainage plans and utilities.
• This position requires strong design experience and prefers project management experience and knowledge of working with local entities.
• Conduct and manage design and plan production.
• Manage clients and supervise technical staff.
• Provide training / mentorship of other engineers.

Qualifications

Education Bachelors of Civil Engineering (required)

Experience 5 years : Experience in local infrastructure / public works,municipal roadway, drainage,and pedestrian facility design projects (required)
