Certified Nursing Associate

We are pleased to announce a new job opportunity at DuPage County government. We currently have positions for Certified Nursing Associate within the Kenneth Moy DuPage Care Center.

The hourly tenure payment is based on years of experience as a C.N.A. and is in addition to the base hourly pay rate of $17.68.

Experience as a Certified Nursing Aide Hourly Tenure Payment :

• 1 Year : $1.50
• 2 Years : $2.50
• 3 Years : $3.50
• 4 Years : $4.50
• 5 Years : $5.50
• 6 or more Years : $6.50

This position is included in the Bargaining Unit of AFSCME, Council 31.

Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience :

Candidates that have the State of Illinois Certified Nurses Aide Training Program completed without a passing score on the State of Illinois Competency test must receive a passing score within 120 days of employment.

A post-offer physical is required.

A pre-employment background check is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and / or arms to provide personal care, crouch or stoop, and lift and transfer a maximum of 50 lbs. independently.
