JOB DESCRIPTIONPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Performs manual measurements and inspects/records results. Alerts team on pipe defects.
- Mixes epoxy following procedures
- Maintains epoxy resin level in baths during production runs
- Assembles fiberglass packs in preparation for loading winder machines
- Set up line, load/unload fiberglass packs and resin baths
- Prepare winders at the beginning of each run by stringing fiberglass tows
- Fixes broken yarns and monitors pipe quality
- Removed oven film and shrink tape from the pipe at the end of the oven
- Prepares ovens at the beginning of each run
- Coordinate the setup of new jobs and ensure that a run checklist is completed at the start of each production run
- Ensure completion of all paperwork at the run's completion
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
- Communicates mechanical and electrical problems to the maintenance department
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Utilize safe work habits
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computers
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) 6 to 8 hours daily
- Lifting weights to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
- Ability to understand, speak, and read work instructions, and safety notices in English
