About the Role : We are seeking a talented and versatile BA cum Functional Tester to join our team at Talent Worx. In this hybrid role, you will play a crucial part in both business analysis and functional testing. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and ensure the delivery of quality software solutions through effective testing methodologies.

Your unique skill set will enable you to facilitate communication between technical teams and business users, ensuring that user requirements are clearly defined and met. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will be essential in validating software functionalities to enhance user experience.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive functional test cases based on requirements.
Perform testing activities, including functional, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and regression testing.
Identify, record, and manage defects effectively, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and project timelines.
Assist in preparing test plans, test scripts, and test data for effective testing processes.
Support continuous improvement efforts in both business analysis and testing practices.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in business analysis and functional testing.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Proficient in writing clear and detailed functional specifications and test cases.

Experience with testing tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center) is a plus.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
