Performs weekly and as needed maintenance of grounds department equipment. Under supervision maintains irrigation systems. Continuously improves technical knowledge and skills through participation in education programs and is-service meetings. Supports organizational visions values and strategies Handling and packaging of Universal Waste; florescent bulbs batteries mercury containing equipment Proper labeling of Universal Waste containers including accumulation start date Knowledge of Universal Waste accidental release procedures Understanding of infrequent disposal of hazardous waste; flammables toxics oxidizers corrosives Handling and packaging of Used Oil / Used Hydraulic Fluids for proper disposal Proper labeling of Used Oil containers including accumulation start date Knowledge of Used Oil / Used Hydraulic Fluid accidental release procedures and collection / clean up
Overview
Presbyterian is seeking a part time Groundskeeper for the Maintenance department to p erform maintenance operations on the grounds of PHS-Albuquerque facilities. Under direct supervision the Groundskeeper I will perform weekly maintenance of lawn and shrub areas as well as irrigation systems.
