The Nurse Practitioner at ABA Connect LLC serves as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical evaluations, diagnoses, and needed prescriptions for individuals with behavioral, developmental, and psychiatric concerns. The NP will utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, test, and prescribe in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

Essential Functions

• Perform direct clinical assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and psychiatric evaluations
• Formulate and communicate diagnoses to patients and families
• Develop individualized care plans in cooperation with team members
• Prescribe and manage medications and other therapies as indicated
• Document all clinical activities in the EMR system promptly and accurately
• Consult with peers and participate in interdisciplinary case reviews
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about diagnoses and treatments
• Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines, including HIPAA, state, and federal regulations
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training

• Expertise in diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making
• Ability to interpret and integrate diverse testing data
• Proficient in prescribing medications and therapies within scope
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptability to PRN scheduling and variable patient needs
• Professionalism in independent contractor role
