This is a full-time schedule; Monday-Thursday 7:45am- 5pm and Friday 7:45am 2 pm.
Primary location will be at our Gilbert office but will be asked to travel to Chandler and Queen Creek as needed.
This position serves as the first point of contact between patients and the practice. Coordinates and guides patient visits from check-in to check-out. Performs various functions including scheduling, managing incoming and outgoing phone calls, collecting co-pays, gathering patient demographic information, and validating insurance information is inputted correctly. Routes phone calls to appropriate departments and provides exceptional customer service. Management of daily task such as Superbill and financial journals, online presences and entering of new patient paperwork.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Requires a demonstrated ability to multi-task between heavy phone volume, multiple computer systems and frequent interruptions. Must have the ability to handle ongoing face-to-face contact with patients and staff while functioning in a busy medical office environment.
Must perform accurate data entry.
Able to work on a computer sitting for 8 hours a day.
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
6 months experience working with medical insurance.
6 months experience working in the medical field.
