6 Month Contract to Hire

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles, including time in senior or lead positions
• Strong Linux background and experience managing large-scale systems
• Must have experience in software development. It can be any language but need a development background
• Must have working experience in implementing FedRAMP
• Experience automating deployments and operational tasks
• Strong skills in debugging distributed systems and understanding infrastructure failures
• Hands-on experience with on-prem enterprise software delivery and support
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and container-based systems
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Experience with packaging and delivery systems (MSI, RPM, Docker images)
• Familiarity with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Windows Server and Active Directory integration
• Awareness of security standards and enterprise compliance needs (SOC2, FedRAMP, etc.)
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments or supporting both on-prem and cloud systems
• Experience optimizing CI/CD pipelines for large engineering teams
• Ability to work directly with customer-facing teams or enterprise clients during deployment or incident resolution
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management
• Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery setups
