CDI Query Writer

A company is looking for a CDI Query Writer.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate and distribute compliant queries to providers for optimal documentation

Collaborate with MD Reviewers to ensure queries are accurately written and distributed

Create queries following AHIMA, ACDIS, and AHA guidelines to support accurate coding and reimbursement

Required Qualifications

Education : Foreign Medical Graduate, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Information Management, or related degree

Experience : Minimum 3 years of clinical work experience and 2 years of current Inpatient CDI experience

Licensure : At least one of the following : MD, DO, CDIP, RN, BSN, CCS, CCDS
