Accounting Analyst

Location : Scottsdale, AZ | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$20hr

Monday to Friday

W2 employment

Start date : ASAP

ROLE IMPACT This role plays a vital part in driving financial accuracy and operational efficiency across accounting functions. By leading reconciliations, system integrations, and process improvements, the Senior Accounting Analyst helps maintain integrity in financial reporting and contributes to strategic decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine and non-routine reconciliations of internal accounting data systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Develop and implement process improvements, including documentation and training
  • Support M&A activities including systems and process integration
  • Partner with business units to gather metrics, improve service levels, and deliver actionable reporting
  • Analyze offshore production against SLAs to identify quality or performance gaps and propose corrective actions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including experience presenting to cross-functional teams

    • CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Oracle or comparable mainframe ERP systems
  • Reconciliation and reporting tools

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience supporting accounting process standardization across business units
  • Exposure to system / process integration in mergers and acquisitions
  • Ability to evaluate offshore team productivity and quality
