Studentnest is an innovative and fast-growing tutoring company dedicated to providing high-quality tutoring services to K-12 students nationwide in Math and / or English Language Arts (ELA). We are passionate about helping students excel and are looking for dedicated tutors to join our team!

Tutor Job Details

  • Status : Part-time
  • Schedule : Flexible and based on tutor availability

    • Job Highlights

  • Pay Rate : $22.00-$24.00 per hour base on experience
  • Subjects : Immediate needs working with 6th grade student in Math and ELA

    • Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 60 college credits and at least one year of tutoring experience (experience in Math and ELA is preferred)
  • Proven proficiency in subject matter
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to help students succeed
  • Strong communication skills to connect effectively with students
  • Motivation and passion to tutor and inspire academic excellence
  • Reliable transportation for in-person sessions in Menlo Park, CA (Proof of insurance required if driving)
  • Must pass reference and FBI / DOJ background checks
  • Must provide a negative tuberculosis test (valid within the last two years)
  • Please submit any relevant certifications (Teacher’s Credential, Tutor Certification, etc.)
  • Opportunity to earn a National Tutoring Association certification through StudentNest
