Overview:

Are you a skilled Video Editor driven by the power of storytelling and passionate about leveraging video to spread the Gospel? Do you have the technical expertise to transform raw footage into professional, emotionally engaging content? Greater IMPACT Church is seeking a dedicated Video Editor (Volunteer) to craft compelling visual stories, ensuring our media powerfully reflects our mission to Connect, Engage, and Serve a global online audience.

What You’ll Do:

• Video Post-Production: Edit raw footage of sermons, testimonies, promotional content, and event highlights into polished, final video assets for distribution across web and social platforms.
• Visual Storytelling: Incorporate B-roll, motion graphics, lower thirds, music, and sound effects to enhance the narrative flow, emotional resonance, and professional quality of all videos.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all video output adheres strictly to the church's visual brand identity, including color grading, typography, and title card styles.
• Media Management: Organize, archive, and manage video projects, raw footage, and final assets to streamline future editing and collaboration.
• Format Optimization: Export final videos in various formats and aspect ratios optimized for specific platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram Reels, website embeds).

What You Bring:

• Video Editing Proficiency: Proven expertise in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
• Technical Skill & Portfolio: Strong understanding of video codecs, file formats, color correction, and audio mixing. A submitted portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual storytelling is required.
• Self-Motivated & Reliable: Highly organized, able to work independently, manage editing deadlines effectively, and respond reliably to feedback and revisions in a remote environment.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous commitment to quality control, ensuring zero errors in titles, spelling, timing, and brand consistency before final delivery.
• Heart for Ministry: A deep desire to use technical skill to advance Kingdom work and a genuine commitment to seeing lives impacted through the Gospel.
