[job_card.job_description]Must have current Commercial Class A or B driver's license with airbrakes and tank endorsement Safe driving record (will have to provide DMV H-6 printout) - no serious moving violations within the past 36 months; no more than two moving violations within the past 24 months Must have a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate Ability to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions Must have familiarity with slumps Good attendance and punctuality a must Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather Must have the physical ability to : climb, stoop, bend, squat, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.), stretch, drive / sit and shift gears Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends and nights, may be required Experience in ready-mix or heavy construction industries 2+ years of commercial driving experience
Job Summary
The Ready-Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of the position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to the job site in a safe manner. This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled. We are seeking a candidate with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and great customer service skills.

$32.50 to $34.50 Hourly
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-trip / post-trip vehicle inspections
- Deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites
- Operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, obeying all traffic laws
- Clean and wash vehicle to include the removal of concrete buildup on all exterior parts of the mixer
- Must be willing to work according to customer demands
- Operate a radio to communicate with company personnel
- Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, state, and federal regulations
- Responsible for reporting all incidents / injuries to management as soon as they occur
- Attend safety meetings as scheduled by management

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug / alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
