MEAT CUTTER
Reports to : Store Director
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team and ensure the highest quality meat products for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing meat to store specifications, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the meat department is stocked, organized, and ready for customer needs. Customer service is key, as you'll assist customers with their meat selections and provide expert recommendations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cut, trim and prepare meat
- Ensure product quality
- Package and label meat
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- Assist with inventory management
- Ensure safety standards
- Stock and organize meat display
- Train meat cutter trainees
- Monitor temperature and storage
- Perform all other duties as assigned
