A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams in developing and operating a real-time API platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, managing hiring, performance, and career development
Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and reliable real-time APIs
Collaborate with various teams to align technical plans and manage the delivery lifecycle of major platform initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in leadership roles
Proven experience managing real-time, high-throughput API platforms in production
Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Experience with API gateways, load balancing, and observability tools
