[job_card.job_description]Prepare and verify supplies, instruments, and equipment prior to surgical procedures Perform surgical hand scrubs and gown / glove self, surgeons, and assistants Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique throughout procedures Assist with draping the sterile field and passing instruments to the surgeon Perform surgical counts with the circulating staff before incision and prior to closure Assist with terminal cleaning of the operating room following procedures Clean, prepare, and organize instruments for terminal sterilization Prepare the surgical suite for subsequent cases Support orientation and training of new staff and students in the Scrub Tech role Does not function as a circulating nurse or first assistant Does not administer medications Does not complete patient medical records Graduate of a Trade or Technical School (Certificate or Diploma) Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Minimum of 3 years of recent Scrub Technician experience Active and unrestricted state license (if applicable) Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques Holiday coverage required EMR system used : EPIC Orientation hours may be unpaid Contract may allow limited shift cancellations per assignment terms Scrub Technologist Surgical Services / Operating Room Medical benefits Referral bonus Relocation bonus

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrub Technician to support surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room environment. Working under the direct supervision of a surgeon, the Scrub Tech plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and sterile surgical procedures while anticipating the needs of the surgical team to maximize patient safety and outcomes.
