Morgan Services is immediately seeking an experience & skilled Industrial Maintenance Worker to join their Buffalo, NY team.

The Industrial Maintenance Worker is responsible for the maintenance of Building & Mechanical Equipment used for processing in an industrial laundry setting. Candidates should possess building / mechanical maintenance & repair knowledge, and a thorough professional mindset with the ability to trouble shoot & problem solve. Candidates should be detail oriented w / ability to work autonomously when necessary, and comply with all health and safety guidelines.

  • Previous industrial machine repair experience is necessary for applicants to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor system, HVAC system, compressors, and production related machinery.
  • Performing general building electrical and plumbing maintenance.
  • Completing Machinery and Building Maintenance Logs
  • Communicating detailed progress on projects in progress.
  • Inspecting, assessing functionality, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery.
  • Surveying buildings to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
  • Installation or adjustments of mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
  • Conducting general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.

    • Maintenance Worker Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years' Industrial Machine Repair Experience Necessary
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & industrial control systems
  • Working knowledge of hand & stationary tools
  • Good communication, time management & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift & manipulate heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards & regulations
  • Secondary education / degree or certification in mechanical maintenance technology or relevant field a plus!
  • Boiler license a plus!
  • Must be able & willing to pass a background check & drug screening
