Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Director of Pain Management to the Anesthesiology group at NYC Health + Hospitals / South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy and accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards and to provide its staff with teaching and research opportunities and the chance to work with medical students, residents and fellows very closely.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a full time Director of Pain Management in our Anesthesia Department!

Join our vibrant and dynamic team of driven and talented Anesthesiologists and CRNAs providing comprehensive peri-operative anesthesia services to all surgical subs-pecialties, including Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Pediatric and Thoracic Surgery, with a busy General Surgery, GYN Surgery and more. We have a new hospital building, equipped with new, state of the art Operating Rooms and a Surgical Robot. Our L&D Suite is fully renovated with private delivery rooms and a dedicated OR Suite.

• Provide clinical leadership, oversight and evaluation of all aspects of Pain Management Services for the facility.
• Direct outpatient clinic responsibilities for Pain Management
• Act as direct supervisor and consultant for all staff on matters related to pain management and general anesthesia
• Direct clinical anesthesiologist responsibilities in the OR / Amb Surg suite

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $400,000

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $474,500

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

The annual base salary listed complies with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual base salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits. Actual total compensation depends on many factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, and historical collections.
