Utah Licensed Appeals Specialist

A company is looking for an RCO Appeals Specialist responsible for researching and appealing denied medical claims.

Key Responsibilities

Research and appeal denied medical claims while identifying insurance denial trends

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare and support appeals

Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor within the organization regarding appeal processes

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in a healthcare revenue cycle role

Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet, and email

Knowledge of State / Federal / ERISA and self-funded insurance laws

Experience in healthcare insurance billing, follow-up, denials, and appeals preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
