We are seeking a 2nd shift detail oriented and reliable Mechanical Assembler responsible for the assembly and testing of enclosed drive gearboxes. This manufacturing role will consist of gear box assembly and subassemblies, as well as monitoring equipment and performing measurements, troubleshooting, and correcting errors. Experience with material traceability, batch production and mechanical aptitude will be a big plus in this role.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs gear box assembly and test
- Reads blueprints, calipers and other measuring instruments, records dimensions, and other details on production logs
- Cleans and maintains work area and equipment organized, including tools
- Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Works with other facility teams (Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to ensure that assembly / test problems are addressed and resolved quickly
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
- Utilize safe work habits at all times
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned

Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or a related manufacturing role requiredForklift operation experience requiredMaterial handling experience requiredJOB REQUIREMENTS
