We are partnering with a highly-regarded Public Accounting Firm to find a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their expanding team. $65,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :

Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.

Ensure timely and accurate compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and address tax-related questions.

Perform account reconciliations and assist with general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.

Support senior accountants and managers during audit engagements as needed.

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in public accounting, with exposure to both tax preparation and general accounting, preferred.

In-depth knowledge of GAAP and current tax regulations.

Proficiency with accounting and tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks, CCH ProSystem, UltraTax).

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and client communication skills.

CPA or actively working toward CPA certification is a significant plus.
