Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A unique opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services within a K-12 public school environment in Eugene, OR. These full-time, on-site contract positions run from ASAP through June 12, 2026, supporting diverse student populations with specialized communication needs.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver specialized SLP services at a behavior-focused K-8 school serving students with some of the most severe behavioral challenges in the county.
- Provide speech-language support to multiple rural schools within the cooperative educational service district.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement effective communication intervention plans.
- Manage a caseload while ensuring compliance with all relevant educational standards and licensure requirements.
- Participate in early release Wednesdays with a standard 37.5-hour workweek.
Qualifications and Experience :
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification, ideally with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).Experience working in school settings with K-12 students, preferably with behaviorally complex cases.Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work onsite as part of a dynamic team serving both specialized and rural school settings.Benefits :
