American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Charge Nurse for a Med / Surg night shift position in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent Med / Surg experience.

/ n / n Responsibilities / n

Med / Surg unit in a hospital setting

Charge Nurse role on Med / Surg 3N

Night shift hours from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

13-week contract assignment

Lead and coordinate Med / Surg unit activities during assigned shifts as Charge Nurse

Prior Med / Surg charge experience is preferred

Scrub or dress code not specified

/ n / n Requirements / n

Active TX or compact RN license required

Minimum of 1 year recent Med / Surg RN experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required, must be valid beyond first 30 days of assignment

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
