About the Role : We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Technical Program Director to lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex technology projects. This role is essential in aligning business needs with technical execution, managing a portfolio of projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery. The successful candidate will be key in developing and managing engagement strategies and detailed project plans.

Serve as a Program Director and technical advisor, providing strategic insights on mainframe optimization, modernization, and transformation initiatives.

Oversee end-to-end program delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder management for multiple projects.

Manage delivery of projects through effective project / program management.

Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping, and client presentations.

Create and maintain program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations using tools like Jira, Asana, MS Project, and Smartsheet.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless delivery of technical solutions, ensuring effective installation, testing, and implementation of mainframe systems and software.

Promote continuous improvement in mainframe environments through automation, cost optimization, and performance enhancements.

Translate complex technical topics into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.

Conduct post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned to enhance future projects.

Mentor junior consultants and foster internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership.

Ensure adherence to technical standards, industry best practices, and specific client requirements.

Required Qualifications :

10+ years of experience in technology consulting, program management, or enterprise IT delivery.

Experience in managed services or hybrid IT environments.

In-depth understanding of mainframe technologies and operations (e.g., z / OS, scheduling tools, tape management).

Documented success in leading large-scale optimization or transformation programs.

Familiarity with cloud integration and modernization strategies for legacy systems.

Robust background in client engagement, solution development, and pre-sales support.

Proficiency in project and program management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet).

Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PMP or Agile certification is a plus).

The estimated salary range for this role is $112,000 to $163,000 annually, and compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and internal equity. Additionally, eligible individuals may partake in an annual bonus plan and equity grants under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
