Steele Solutions, Inc. is the nation's leading designer and manufacturer of steel work platforms and mezzanines. We recently launched our automation division to solve one of the biggest challenges in material handling-controls that are too often rebuilt from scratch, full of delays, and unpredictable at startup. With this launch, we’re looking for an Electrical Engineer professional to join our automation team in Atlanta, GA (preferred) or Milwaukee, WI!

• Role does require travel up to 25%-35% for commissioning effort and support.

Summary

Under minimal oversight, this senior-level Electrical Engineer leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of electrical systems for mid-to-large and highly complex automation projects. This role owns full system design and technical reviews, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, and provides on-site implementation support as needed. Operating with broad autonomy, the engineer serves as a technical lead across multiple concurrent projects, driving scalability, innovation, and cost efficiency. They contribute to the development of internal standards, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and help shape the strategic direction of the electrical engineering discipline within the organization.
