Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing book of business across shipper and carrier relationships
- Build long-term partnerships with customers and carriers through consistent, high-touch service
- Source, negotiate, and secure freight opportunities on a daily basis
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules while monitoring loads in transit
- Proactively communicate shipment updates and resolve issues quickly
- Develop and maintain a reliable, compliant carrier network
- Ensure accurate documentation, load tracking, and communication records
- Drive consistent revenue growth while exceeding monthly margin and volume targets
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Freight Broker with an active book of business
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with load boards, TMS platforms, and freight-matching tools
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on growth and profitability

Compensation
- Base salary range: $75,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience and performance
- Uncapped commission structure with strong upside for revenue producers
