    • Responsibilities :

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership quality standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using up-to-date diagnostic tools and special service equipment provided.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, etc.
  • Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and make recommendations on any additional maintenance and / or repair items.
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor and / or Service Manager.
  • Achieve & Maintain GM Technician Training Certification(s).

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous GM experience a plus, but not required.
  • Completion of a Certified Auto Tech training program a plus, but not required.
  • ASE certifications a plus.
  • NYS Motor Vehicle Inspectors License.
  • GM Training & Certifications a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to fix it right the first time are required.
  • Reliable transportation to work required.
  • Must be able to work together as a quality-oriented customer-focused team.
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
