Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist experienced in vascular and body interventions for a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a designated IR suite with potential to float to two additional rooms as needed
- Support comprehensive stroke center and oncology cases, including aneurysm repair, angiography, and vascular interventions
- Average of 5 cases per day with adult and geriatric patients
- Siemens Hybrid Artis Pheno and ARTIS Q fluoroscopy systems in use
- EMR: Epic Encompass
- Day shift scheduling with five 8-hour or four 10-hour shifts depending on department needs
- On-call required two days per week starting at 1600 (weekdays) or 0700 (weekends) until last case is complete; every 4th weekend on call
- Must work holidays if scheduled
- Potential to float within clinical IR rooms based on caseload
- Duties include scrubbing and assisting in interventional radiology procedures, and operating all IR-related equipment
- Department team includes tech extenders, neuro radiologists, surgeons, and body specialists
- Up to 2-week orientation provided based on experience level
- Team-oriented, fast-paced environment supporting Level 1 trauma and advanced vascular care
- Hospital-provided scrubs are required
- Free employee parking available
- Must be separated from this health system for at least 1 year after permanent employment before returning
- First-time travelers will be considered with appropriate experience
- Manager approval required for time off

- Active ARRT(R) required; VI or CV certification preferred; RCIS with vascular rotation acceptable
- Current BLS required
- Minimum of 1 year recent IR Tech experience is required
- Highly proficient with Siemens Hybrid Artis Pheno fluoroscopy unit without need for training
- Strong angiography, scrubbing, circulating, and troubleshooting skills in IR procedures
- Willingness to circulate, operate, and direct use of equipment including on the back table
- Experience working in IR/Vascular and in the OR required
- Must provide one recent professional reference from a supervisor-level title
- Knowledge of Epic EMR preferred
- Last 4 of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility—local candidates are not accepted
- License required if applicable
