Do you thrive on solving problems, keeping machines running smoothly, and working with cutting-edge automation technology? We’re looking for a skilled Automation Technician to join our team and support the installation, programming, and maintenance of automated industrial machinery.

This is your chance to use your expertise in robotics, controls, and mechanical systems to drive innovation, improve production processes, and ensure maximum equipment effectiveness—all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Test, troubleshoot, and implement new processes and robotics.
• Install retrofits to existing systems and solve hardware/instrument issues.
• Program and maintain Fanuc robots (or similar) and Allen Bradley/Rockwell systems.
• Work with industrial networks: Ethernet I/P, DeviceNet, Profibus, ControlNet.
• Apply knowledge of power distribution, fluid power controls (hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum), and electro-mechanical devices.
• Integrate robots into machines and set up vision systems.
• Support production improvements, preventive maintenance, and start-up activities.
• Fabricate and assemble EOATs, machine guards, and sensor brackets.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards (ISO 14001 awareness training provided).

What We’re Looking For

• Completion of a 2-year degree or technical certificate program OR equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on experience with robot setup, programming, and integration.
• Familiarity with database and network operations.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read technical documentation and write clear reports.
• Safety-first mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
