DESCRIPTION : Position Summary

The Assembler 3 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work and minimum testing of various electrical or electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use electric solder equipment to IPC-A-610B standard.
• Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct or limited supervision.
• Perform a variety of complex mechanical or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
• Conduct inspections of own or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company or customer drawing.
• Minimum testing of various electrical or electronic equipment, as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 5S standards.
• Maintain an acceptable safety record.
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
• May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
• Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.

Years of Experience : minimum 5 years of prior related work experience in an electrical or avionics manufacturing or testing environment or completed OJT training for at least 10 products.
