Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Job in Peoria Illinois - Flexible Schedule

A leading healthcare system in Peoria, Illinois, is actively seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our highly skilled Inpatient ICU team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver advanced critical care in a collaborative, physician-led environment.

Position Overview:

• Work alongside a team of 4 Critical Care Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Provide care in our 12-bed Cardiovascular ICU and 12-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
• Average of 5 patients per shift
• Perform ICU procedures - full training and several months of orientation provided
• Flexible scheduling with 8-, 12-, or 24-hour shifts, including weekdays, nights, evenings, and weekends

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification
• 1-3 years of ICU or Acute Care experience as a provider or RN
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and procedural skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $59.38 - $77.20 (commensurate with experience)
