KFC Corporation is hiring: Social Media Specialist in Plano

We're seeking a hands-on Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our social media presence, collaborating with agency partners and internal teams to execute daily posting and scheduling across various platforms. Your responsibilities will also include community engagement, content creation, and providing valuable analytics insights to shape our social media strategy.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily posting and scheduling on Pizza Hut's owned social media channels, including Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Reddit.
• Engage with our online community through comments and partner with the social care team for customer service and engagement.
• Track and report on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to enhance social media engagement.
• Create short-form videos and trend-driven posts, occasionally appearing on camera.
• Assist in planning content shoots and stay updated on social media trends, recommending new content formats.
• Produce and manage social lightning moments that position Pizza Hut as a cultural leader.
• Support influencer collaborations and user-generated content initiatives as needed.
• Contribute to the development and presentation of organic social media strategy, sharing learnings and recommendations with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in social media execution or community management.
• Proficiency in social media scheduling tools, such as Sprout.
• Comfortable with content creation and basic video editing skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform social media strategy.
• A passion for social media trends and brand storytelling, with a creative mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with agency partners and internal teams.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a willingness to stay updated on industry trends.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A positive and engaging online presence, with a genuine interest in building and nurturing online communities.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset, open to learning and embracing new social media platforms and trends.

Salary Range: $70,400 to $74,610 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
