Credentialing Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and collaborative individual to join our team as a Credentialing Specialist. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and consistency of provider credentialing and maintenance data across our healthcare networks. Your work will directly support provider compliance, data integrity, and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate and update provider credentialing data, attestations, and documentation
  • Review contracts and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify provider details via licensing and specialty boards and other authoritative sources
  • Process provider updates in accordance with internal policies and workflows
  • Respond to inquiries from internal teams and external partners with accurate, solution-oriented communication
  • Conduct email and phone outreach to providers to verify data integrity

Required Experience:

  • 1+ year in administrative or healthcare operations role
  • Experience in remote or fast-paced work environments
  • Exposure to credentialing or provider data management
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using Microsoft Teams

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Prior work with healthcare providers, hospitals, or insurance organizations
  • Familiarity with credentialing or data accuracy systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong phone etiquette and ability to manage professional conversations
  • Flexibility and responsiveness in high-volume or shifting work environments
