Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time. A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance. Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act. Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
Warehouse Specialist
Tessera is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our dedicated team supporting operations at the United States Air Force Academy. In this role, you will play a vital part in receiving, storing, and distributing mission-critical materials and equipment. You'll maintain accurate inventory records, operate warehouse machinery, and ensure safety and compliance every step of the way. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to make a meaningful impact, we believe you belong here.
Typical duties include but are not limited to :
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in accordance with military and contract standards
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Maximo, DoD e-Tools, and other approved systems
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or recurring inventory issues
- Issue and distribute parts, tools, and equipment to maintenance teams
- Prepare documentation for shipments, transfers, and inventory adjustments
- Collaborate with logistics and maintenance personnel to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor warehouse safety and environmental compliance
- Report any concerns or violations promptly
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training
