Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor Aide (PT)

We are seeking Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor Aides for the Public Safety Academy in Wayne, NJ. This is part-time, hourly position.

Example of Duties:

• Assist the EMT Instructors to provide instruction for emergency medical technician students
• Assist the EMT Instructors in the demonstration and practice designed to develop and evaluate student skill competencies
• Attend and participate in all aspects of EMT- Basic training
• Assist in maintaining continuity for the training program

Qualifications:

• Current New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT0-B) certification required
• Instructional experience a plus
• Daytime, evening and weekend availability needed

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $16.
