Location : Bethesda, MD (Onsite, 5 days / week)

Pay : $23 $26 / hour (Contract-to-Hire)

Schedule : Full-Time Hours

Start Date : Within 2 weeks

About the Role :

Our client, a major service provider in the DMV is looking to bring on a Cash Applications Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of AR / Cash Applications experience who thrives in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Cash Receipts & Payment Application :

• Process high-volume customer payments : lockbox, ACH, wires, credit cards, checks
• Accurately apply payments to corresponding invoices
• Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments
• Audit team member work for accuracy and provide feedback when needed
