Jordan's Furniture is seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Online Merchandising to lead the development and execution of our digital merchandising strategy. This role will be instrumental in driving online sales, optimizing product presentation, and enhancing the overall customer experience across our digital channels. The ideal candidate will combine creative vision with analytical rigor to curate compelling product assortments, manage vendor relationships, and ensure optimal inventory flow and availability. Collaborating closely with marketing, operations, and buying teams, this leader will deliver a seamless, on-brand, and conversion-focused online shopping experience.

This is a hybrid position located in Dedham, MA.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities we trust you to perform:

• Oversees and maintains intuitive site navigation to ensure customers can easily locate products across the online store.
• Manages and tests on-site search functionality to ensure accuracy, relevance, and ease of use.
• Optimizes product and category pages for SEO to enhance search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Ensures product imagery and descriptions are clear, engaging, and informative to support confident purchasing decisions.
• Generates and interprets daily performance reports, tracking key ecommerce metrics including GMV, conversion rate, bounce rate, and average order value (AOV).
• Partners with the Merchandising team to analyze inventory management data and implement necessary actions based on stock levels and sales trends, manage stock allocation and availability, execute promotional pricing strategies and markdowns and ensure all pricing is accurate and aligned with campaign goals.
• Analyzes customer behavior using digital monitoring tools and recommends optimizations to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates.
• Leads the planning and execution of markdowns, promotional campaigns, and stock consolidation strategies, while collaborating with Marketing to align timing and messaging for product launches and key promotional events.
• Leads, manages, coaches and develops a high-performing E-Commerce merchandising team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Qualifications

Who you are:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required.
• 15 years of prior business experience.
• 7+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience in home furnishings, dcor, or lifestyle retail strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams
• Experience managing large product assortments and complex merchandising structures
• Proficiency in web analytics tools
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
