Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Summary :

Join our bustling warehouse in Houston, Texas, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate! We are looking for a hardworking and dependable individual to manage the inbound and outbound flow of goods. This role is crucial to our Logistics operations, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and on time. Responsibilities include unloading incoming trucks, verifying shipments against purchase orders, stocking received goods, picking and packing outgoing orders, and loading trucks for delivery. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to handle demanding tasks, and possess strong organizational skills. A commitment to workplace Safety is paramount. You will be provided with and required to wear PPE such as safety vests and gloves. The role involves substantial Lifting of packages, potentially up to 60 lbs. Key duties involve : Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments. Accurately documenting all incoming and outgoing goods. Storing inventory in designated locations. Preparing orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling. Loading and unloading delivery trucks. Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment. Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE .
