Job Summary
We are seeking Caregivers to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. You will work directly with patients, following a personalized care plan for each individual. Services described shall be primarily provided at the client's residence, although some may occur at other locations as specified in the service plan. You will approach this role with compassion, providing not only attentive care but also building genuine relationships with those you serve. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, light housekeeping, running errands, and performing other tasks that improve the clients living environment and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing.
• Assist patients with mobility such as walking, moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Light housekeeping activities, such as changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Build relationships with clients by providing companionship, engaging in conversation, or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Assist with errands and shopping.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical

Requirements

• The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs.
• You are detail-oriented, highly organized, extremely reliable, and adaptable.
• Candidates must pass a criminal background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.
• Prior experience in Home Health, Hospice, or with dementia is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license and liability insurance.

Schedule
"Schedule caregivers" means to plan appointments for Caregivers to deliver specific in-home care services to clients; the times and dates of these appointments are set by the in-home care agency, per the client's service plan.

We are hiring compassionate caregivers -- 20-40 hours per week, flexible hours -- Full-time / Part-time - Positions available immediately, upon completion of criminal history background check.

Our Clients deserve the best! For compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Caregivers, the pay rate is between $20.00 - $23.00
