Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a range of routine and sophisticated laboratory tests in various areas including chemistry, hematology, and microbiology, following established protocols.
• Interpret test results accurately, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure all laboratory instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory testing as necessary.
• Document all work meticulously, provide training for new staff and interns, and contribute to maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold safety practices and comply with regulatory standards and certifications.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is expected within the first year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
